Semester calendar

GEC Palanpur's academic calendar gives each semester its own teaching-duration window inside the same term (e.g. Sem-III's classes run later than Sem-I's). Set that here — muster generation uses it instead of the term's overall dates whenever a semester-specific entry exists.

Student Details

Students enrolled, grouped by semester and batch — this roster feeds Attendance and the Course File generator.

Add a student

Import students for a semester

Set the semester & batch once, then paste the whole class list — copied straight from a spreadsheet or your muster. One student per line.

Re-pasting an enrollment number that already exists updates that student instead of duplicating them — safe to re-import an updated list.

Assign CCM (Counsellor cum Mentor)

Matches the department's CCM office order — each faculty is formally responsible for a set of students' academic/non-academic counselling, attendance follow-up, and career guidance for the year. Pick a faculty, paste the enrollment numbers, and it links them.

Scholarships

Track DTE/ACPC scholarship applications per student — MYSY, Digital Gujarat post-matric (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), AICTE Pragati/Saksham, and the National Scholarship Portal.

Timetable

Set which subject meets on which day — supports mid-term revisions with their own effective-from date — then prepare the whole term's attendance muster in one click.

Holiday calendar — Gujarat GAD

Public holidays declared by the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat, plus the college's own vacation blocks (e.g. Diwali vacation). Muster generation automatically skips these dates (and Sundays) — no class session gets created for a day college was closed.

DateDayHoliday

Timetable revisions

A revision is a full schedule with a "with effect from" date. When a college timetable changes mid-term, add a new revision instead of editing the old one — muster generation automatically switches to the newer schedule from its WEF date onward.

TermRevisionWEFRemarkEntries

Add a timetable entry

Pick which revision this entry belongs to. Faculty and batch are pulled automatically once you pick the subject.

Pick a subject to see its faculty and batch.

Weekly timetable

Prepare muster automatically

Pick a subject that's on the timetable. Every date between the term's start and end date gets an attendance session — using whichever revision was in effect on that date — all students marked Present by default. Go to Attendance → Edit to correct actual absentees per date.

Select a subject with at least one timetable entry to see how many class dates will be created.

Course File

The standard 22-document GTU/NBA course file, tracked and auto-drafted per subject.
